My husband and I are relocating to Madison (in fact, tomorrow is our closing). I was in Madison the week of April 14 to begin the house-hunting project. "Luke was/is our real estate agent". As first time buyers, my wife and I had no clue what to expect in both a search for a house and for a real estate agent. Luke was the first agent we met via the first house we looked at. Thankfully, he made us feel at ease right from the start. He was very informative, without using overbearing real estate terminology and he communicated not as a deal maker or salesman, but as a buddy from high school and/or a family friend. Luke was also very patient and reassuring, as we jumped from one house to the next, and next, and next, etc. "Hey, not a problem. It's my job to find you guys the right house for you..." was something he said many times amidst our insecurities during our search.
We will recommend Luke to anyone we come in contact with who is searching for a new house. If you want a real estate agent with knowledge, energy, excellent communication skills, 100% commitment, sense of humor, and negotiating smarts, Luke is the one you've been looking for. And he's great with kids. We have a 2 year old energetic boy and Luke was more than happy to watch over him as we walked through the house. In fact, every time we went to see a new house, Jack would ask with an excited smile, "We going to see Luke?"
Luke made a dream come true for us. And on top of that we've gained a friend.
